To assist the Account Manager and Management Team in providing the drive, analysis, processes, and information to deliver the budgeted financial performance of the contract.
The Commercial Analyst will ensure contractual commitments are met
Provide a technical review, administer, and value all contract change variations accurately and correctly
Along with seeking contractual opportunities to the best advantage.
Your main responsibilities may include:
* Manage all contract changes, early warning notice, valuation and submissions, and changes are updated and administered in a timely manner, maximising both revenue and profit margin.
* Update information with relation to agreed contract changes.
* Provide and issue contract change notifications to the Management and Operational teams on agreed Compensation Events, contract changes and service matrix updates.
* Assist the Account Manager in preparation of internal and external reporting.
* Ensure payment is received in line with the contract agreement and that any queries which are withholding payment are promptly responded to.
* Liaising with Operations in relation to all subcontractor tasks, such as the raising and administration of Subcontract orders, checking and approval of valuations and invoices, ensuring contractual requirements are met, and resolving of supplier/Subcontract issues effectively
* Collect data for monitoring and review monthly individual KPI performance measures, both internal and external.
* To ensure the full and proper implementation of the Company's Procedures.
* Carry out any additional ad-hoc duties as advised by the Management team.
Knowledge Skills & Experience
Essential
* Flexible and versatile approach to work with competent skills in Microsoft Office applications, including extent use of Excel.
* Technical experience and understanding of FM services.
* Strong experience of pricing of services.
* Capable of working with high volume of transactions.
* Being able to prioritise own workload at pace, working with multiple deadlines and duties accurately and timely, all whilst using your own initiative and working under pressure with minimum supervision.
* Being highly motivated, with a high work ethic and being able to motivate others and ability to rise to challenges, all whilst being confident in making decisions and follow up their decisions with actions to achieve objectives.
* Provide balance of commercial considerations with the needs of colleagues and clients, uses consultation and negotiation to reach agreement, critically examine numerical, financial, and written data, with being able to track delivery against specifications and budgets.

* Finance qualification – ACCA / AAT [not essential]
