My client, a pensions administrator, is currently hiring for apprentices within their service delivery team
You’ll be working in the office with your team four days per week and spending a day a week off-site at college to study for your industry exams, providing you with an excellent base knowledge to kick start your career.
The apprenticeship will last for 18 months, at which time the employer hope to be able to offer a permanent position and continuous professional development throughout your career.
What do you need:
You’ll need to have achieved GCSE Grade 4 in Maths and English [grade C, or equivalent] and have an aptitude for solving problems.
This is a customer focussed role so we’re looking for people who go above and beyond to provide the highest standards of service and are solutions focused.
You’ll need a high standard of written and spoken English as you’ll be responding to written correspondence – attention to detail is a must!
A great telephone manner is essential as you’ll spend a lot of your time on calls answering queries.

What you’ll be doing:
You’ll have your initial induction and training and be enrolled on to your college course, then over the first six months whilst you learn more about the industry and processes you’ll be trained to deal with basic telephone enquiries.
As you develop your knowledge you’ll start to learn about more complex queries, working across different teams to gain a full range of skills.
You’ll have the opportunity to learn from your team colleagues and manager and develop your career within the industry.
Day to day you will respond to telephone queries and written correspondence
You’ll support customers' to use self-service portals, offering assistance and coaching as required
You should ensure that tasks are completed within set timescales by prioritising your workload, highlighting any issues that may prevent you from completing all tasks.
You’ll actively seek out opportunities to develop your knowledge of the systems, processes and industry.
