Located: Newport Pagnell – Hybrid working
We're looking for a passionate and experienced Finance Assistant to join a leading events management company and support the finance team from an Accounts Receivable focus
The ideal candidate will have good comprehension of of VAT including international VAT, and experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable duties.
Duties include;
* Ensure that all sales invoices are prepared to a high level of accuracy
* Ensure that payments are made in accordance with company policy
* Assist with monthly and year end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable reporting
* Assist with nominal ledger accounts reconciliation on a monthly basis
* Provide support to other members of the Finance function
Essential background criteria:
* Excellent comprehension of VAT including international VAT
* Experienced in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable duties
* Good basic understanding of excel and word
* Comfortable communicating via email and good telephone manner
* Able to work on own and as part of a small team
* Able to work to tight deadlines
* GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths
