As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and growth of their organisation

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of their Accounts team
You will collaborate closely with the senior management team to develop and implement strategies that optimise financial performance and drive profitability
Additionally, you will be responsible for managing a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the Wholegood sales invoice process including but not limited to
Creating and posting of Wholegood invoices
Work closely with Sales managers and assist in invoicing queries
Liaising with finance houses
Reconciling and management of funding lines
Managing and controlling all transactional and month end processes through month end timetable
Producing the monthly management accounts to deadline to include but not limited to
Daily bank reconciliations
Prepayments and Accruals
Inventory reconciliations
Suspense account reconciliation
Franchise account reconciliation
HP schedules
Gold maintenance
Analysing performance, sales, margins, costs etc.
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Ensuring robust financial systems and processes are in place
Daily management of cash flow by tracking transactions and ensuring funding lines are in place
Prepare and submit VAT/tax returns
Supervise and develop the finance assistants
Assisting with budgets and forecasts
Assist with the statutory audit and manage relationships with auditors/accountants
Complete annual FCA returns and adhoc National Statistics requests
Adhoc duties as required by the business
Requirements
Qualifications:
Qualified Accountant ACCA, ACA or ACMA with proven post qualified experience
Clarity in written and verbal communication and able to articulate financial issues in an easily understandable fashion.
Strong analytical skills and numeracy with high levels of accuracy
An enquiring mind and proactive focus.
Confident and articulate in presentation.
A true team player capable of flexibility and application to tasks at a variety of different levels

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 per annum depending on experience
Working Hours are 8.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday [Office based].
