Finance Officer
Description✓We are recruiting for an experienced Finance Officer on a 6 months fixed term contract basis until 31st December 2023.

✓JOB PURPOSE:
✓You will support the Interim Finance Manager with the reconciliation of the Sales Debtors, Trader Debtors and Owner Debtors.
✓SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
✓• Working with the Interim Finance Manager, support with the reconciliations of the Salesforce Owner Debtors to the SunSystems accounting system.
✓• Investigation and resolution of variances, liaising with 3rd parties as required within required deadlines.
✓• Prepare, obtain approval and process journals in SunSystems.
✓• Work as a team to deliver departmental Key Performance Indicators and targets.
✓• On occasion you may be asked to perform additional duties or duties unrelated to your role after appropriate training has been given.
✓• Identify new and improved ways of working to drive efficiency and effectiveness, eliminating non-value-added tasks to create capacity for value added ones.
✓• Deliver 1st class service to customers both internally and externally.
✓• On occasion you may be asked to perform additional duties or duties unrelated to your role after appropriate training has been given.
✓• You have a duty to safeguard your own health and safety and that of your colleagues, customers, and visitors
✓You also have a duty to co-operate with management to enable it to comply with its health and safety duties.
✓KEY COMPETENCIES:
✓• Highly numerate and analytical with excellent attention to detail
✓• Reconciliation experience essential
✓• Experience of high-volume transactional process management
✓• Strong IT skills [Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams etc]
✓• Strong planning, time management and organisational skills
✓• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
