✓POSITION : Finance Systems Officer
✓LOCATION : London
✓SALARY : £37,850 + 25-30 days HOLIDAY PLUS BH + 13% EMPLOYER PENSION CONTRIBUTON + HYBRID WORKING
✓THE ROLE : Our public sector client are looking for a Finance Systems Officer to join their finance team on a full time permanent basis
✓The successful Finance Systems Officer will be reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer and the Director of Finance to manage the clients financial systems and provide support to the staff to enable effective financial propriety and accurate and timely financial reporting
✓This is an exciting opportunity in a newly created role.
✓You will have a strong background of accounting procedures and systems and will be a part qualified accountant [CIMA or ACCA]
✓Candidates will also be considered who have strong experience and AAT qualification
✓There will also be an opportunity for study support to gain your full qualification.
✓DUTIES
✓* Manage a variety of financial systems
✓* Investigate ways of improving current processes
✓* Being the central point of contact for all financial queries
✓* The preparation of information for funding bids and reporting to stakeholders
✓* Assisting with the company’s annual accounts and audit process
✓* Any other duties required by the Director of Finance
✓SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
✓* Hold part CIMA/ACCA accountancy qualification
✓* Have a strong background of accounting procedures and systems
✓* Have a broad understanding of budgets, forecasting and annual accounts
✓* Be computer literate and within three months have detailed knowledge of the clients business system [full training provided]
✓* Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
✓* Excellent time management skills and good attention to detail
