Income Administrator

DescriptionWe are looking for an Income Administrator to join a small Housing Provider in London on a 6 month contract
Responsibilities include:
· Provide administrative support to the housing and income team including filing, photocopying, scanning and updating the database
· Act as first point of contact for residents with standard rent queries and to manage a small arrears patch
· Administer collection of rent through direct debit and other payment procedures
· Ensure all housing benefit payments and schedules are accurately processed and coded
· Provide emergency cover during absences which may include home visits, tenancy sign ups and service of notices
Essential Experience:
· Previous experience of working within social housing/local authority in an administrative capacity
· Experience of helping customers with rent arrears and managing low-level rent arrear cases
· Have strong computer skills, good verbal skills and knowledge of the role
