✓Our client, a leading, multinational bank are seeking a Junior IT Consultant to join the global team to manage requirements and requests for Risk and PnL data across Global Markets
✓Responsibilities include:
✓Analysis and development of new business driven requirements which includes liaising with technology teams for specification and demo’s of enhancements
✓Involvement throughout the software development lifecycle
✓3rd line development support for the RRA application to improve production support and stability
✓Development of tools to improve 1st line support self service
✓Contribution to the development of a cross asset testing frameworkRequired
✓Work experience in Java and Python application development
✓Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills
✓Knowledge or experience of agile development [e.g
✓XP, SCRUM, Kanban] and continuous integration
✓Team player, self-motivated and proactive
✓This would be a good transition into development for someone with front office support experience that would like to develop their Python and Java programming skills.
