Junior Finance Analyst
Description✓Job title: Junior Finance Analyst
✓Location: Hook - hybrid office working
✓Duration: 6 months initially
✓Rate: £100pd - £160pd
✓The role:
✓The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in finance
✓They should be a creative thinker with good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
✓They should be able to work independently, take initiative, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
✓Responsibilities:
✓Responsible for supporting the finance transformation initiatives relating to FP&A
✓Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills; being able to analyse data, draw conclusions, identify trends and issues, and diagnose root cause of issues
✓Monitoring progress and providing regular reports and updates to senior leadership
✓Support the management of change around processes, ways of working and impacts to business and Global Finance teams
✓Work closely with our offshore partner to ensure all project impacts and dependencies are considered, planned and managed.
✓Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, finance, and other business partners
✓Identification of process duplication, redundant tasks, inefficiency, and manual activities to support our process standardisation, simplification, and automation efforts.
✓Working closely with SMEs to create relevant training material and process documentation relating to the new initiatives and processes
✓Identifying risks and opportunities within projects and managing them accordingly.
✓Help establish standards and metrics to measure adherence to processes
✓Requirements:
✓Graduate/Part Qualified Accountant
✓Demonstrable experience of projects or continuous improvements
