Description✓Management Accountant [12 Month FTC]
✓Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire
✓Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum
✓Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday - Friday
✓The Management Accountant will support the depot and department managers to use a variety of financial information to inform business strategy
✓Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will work across a variety of financial areas of the business.
✓You will be responsible for the preparation of financial information and working with management to provide greater understanding of financial information to aid informed decisions whilst ensuring purchases are authorised, accurately and efficiently processed and invoices are paid in a timely manner.
✓Key responsibilities of a Management Accountant
✓* Preparing and posting documentation, valuations, invoice accruals, journals and reconciliations to Sage.
✓* Preparing monthly depot accounts, investigate and resolve variences.
✓* Maintain records and support annual audit and tax analysis requirements.
✓* Supervision of Purchase Ledger staff.
✓Key skills of a Management Accountant
✓* Previous management accounting experience.
✓* CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualification is desirable.
✓* Strong Excel skills.
