Management Accountant
Description✓GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a highly successful, fast growing family run business located in Tewkesbury.
✓We are currently supporting their recruitment for a Management Accountant to join their team on a 12 month, FTC – covering Maternity leave.
✓This position is working Monday – Friday offering a salary up to £45,000.
✓The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of financial information and working with management to provide greater understanding of financial information, allowing them to make informed decisions
✓The Management Accountant will support the depot and department managers to use a variety of financial information to inform business strategy
✓The successful candidate will ensure purchases are authorised, accurately and efficiently processed and invoices are paid in a timely manner.
✓To be considered for this position it is preferred you are CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified, or finalist and can demonstrate previous management accounting experience with strong Excel skills and knowledge of Sage 200 or similar.
✓Management Accountant main duties:
✓* Preparing and posting documentation, valuations, invoice accruals, journals and reconciliations to Sage
✓* Preparing monthly depot accounts, investigate and resolve variances
✓* Maintain records and support annual audit and tax analysis requirements
✓* Supervision of Purchase Ledger staff
