MI Analyst - £30,000 - £35,000 + excellent benefits - Birmingham

DescriptionOakley Recruitment is working in partnership with a global organisation based in Birmingham City Centre
This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding team as a MI Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent, this role offers a hybrid working style.
Providing analytical administrative support, whilst building excellent working relationships with stakeholders
The successful candidate will have strong Power BI experienced and advanced MS Excel skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Analysing, measuring and manipulating data
* Mapping data onto relevant systems
* Documenting and cleansing data
* Daily reporting using MS Excel to an intermediate/advanced level
* Liaising with stakeholders across the business
* Developing excellent working relationships
* Administering processes ensuring excellent levels of accuracy and attention to detail
* Reviewing reports identifying any breaches and risks
* Producing comprehensive correspondence
* Documenting of information and processes
* Identifying improvement areas
Skills and experience
* Excellent excel skills are required for this role, with a willingness to learn
* Ability to think creatively to both anticipate and solve problems
* Able to harness technical knowledge of a system to respond effectively to business needs
* Ability to work with a large amount of detailed information whilst retaining focus and achieving consistent quality and accuracy
* Ability to analyse and manipulate business data in order to create, map and maintain relevant templates
* Ability to translate technical issues into simple language so these can be readily understood by the business, and to interact with the business to resolve these successfully
* Ability to think creatively to both anticipate and solve problems
* Ability to clearly document and communicate operating processes and procedures
Package and benefits
* Monday - Friday 35 hours, flexible between 8 am - 6 pm
