✓Responsibilities:
✓* Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their financial goals, current circumstances, and protection needs.
✓* Assess clients' existing policies and analyse potential risks and coverage gaps.
✓* Provide expert advice on a wide range of protection products, including life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, and mortgage protection.
✓* Tailor protection solutions to suit individual clients' needs and budgetary requirements.
✓* Present and explain policy options to clients, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the benefits and exclusions.
✓* Collaborate with mortgage advisors and other team members to offer integrated mortgage and protection solutions.
✓* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and regulations to provide accurate and informed advice.
✓* Maintain a strong network of professional relationships with insurers and underwriters.
✓* Adhere to compliance and regulatory guidelines throughout the advisory process.
✓* Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's growth objectives.
✓Requirements:
✓* Proven experience as a Protection Advisor or in a similar role within the financial services sector.
✓* Excellent knowledge of protection products, including life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, and mortgage protection.
✓* Strong understanding of financial planning concepts and risk assessment.
✓* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner.
✓* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships based on trust and integrity.
✓* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
✓* Self-motivated and target-driven, with a track record of achieving sales goals.
✓* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with colleagues from different departments.
✓* Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
✓* Relevant certifications or qualifications in financial planning or protection advisory [e.g., CII Certificate in Protection, CeMAP] are highly desirable.
