Purchase Ledger Clerk

DescriptionWe are actively recruiting for a temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk to work for a leading national business in their small but busy finance team based on the Western side of Cambridge.
Easily commutable from Cambridge, Huntingdon, St Neots and St Ives, this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable organisation in a temporary role expected to last until the end of August.
Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Supervisor, this is a purely transactional role where you will be helping to clear a backlog of invoices to help prepare for year end.
Duties include:
Processing purchase invoices
Gain invoice authorisation
Resolve queries
Set up new suppliers
Adhoc duties to support the team
Applicants must have the following skills and experience:
Previous experience of Purchase Ledger is essential
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Hard worker with a flexible attitude
Must be able to interview and start at short notice
This is a fully office-based role, hours of work are Monday - Friday 9-5, parking is available on site.
