✓Due to exciting growth and expansion, a highly prestigious financial services company is seeking to hire a Cheque Clearing Officer to join their Operations team
✓You will be responsible for processing a high volume of customer transactions, ensuring that all work is completely in a timely and accurate manner
✓You will be expected to provide an efficient and intuitive service to all customers, whilst managing and processing inward and outward cheque / image clearing

✓Duties of the Clearing Officer to include:
✓* Processing image clearing in line with procedures
✓This will include contacting customers and stakeholders for confirmation of payment instructions.
✓* Manage Inward and Outward Unpaid cheque process.
✓* Handle incoming Remittances for customers.
✓* Deal with the receipt / collection / negotiation of foreign cheques.
✓* Producing Copy statements upon customer request.
✓* Process Dollar and Euro clearing.
✓* Producing weekly reconciliation of internal accounts for stakeholders.
✓Requirements for the successful Clearing Officer:
✓* Banking experience is essential, with knowledge of remitting CHAPS, SWIFT and reconciliations.
✓* Clearing subject matter expert, with relevant professional background.
✓* Candidates must be comfortable liaising with clients and stakeholders, and possess a friendly and professional customer service manner.
