Description✓My client is searching for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their Leeds, West Yorkshire offices.

✓This is an opportunity to join an expanding practice based in my clients Leeds office
✓They will work with you to develop your career and provide you with both the guidance and training you require to reach your potential
✓You will be working alongside highly experienced accountants and other professionals
✓My client offer training both on site and externally.
✓Job Purpose:
✓• To use your knowledge and skills to deliver a first class service to our clients.
✓• Duties to include:
✓• Assisting with the management of a portfolio of clients
✓• Preparation of annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
✓• VAT Returns
✓• Corporation tax returns
✓• Personal tax returns
✓• Partnership tax returns
✓• Production of management accounts
✓• Client Bookkeeping
✓• Company Secretarial Duties [desirable]
✓• Preparation of P11ds [desirable]
✓• Payroll experience [desirable]
✓Skills and Experience:
✓• You must have at least 2-3 years working in an accountancy practice environment.
✓• Experience of Sage 50, Xero, Quickbooks, Iris, Sage Business Cloud an advantage
✓• Strong Attention to Detail
✓• Excellent Time Management Skills
✓• Exceptional Communication Skills with a good telephone manner
✓• Good written and technical Skills
✓• Strong Prioritisation and Organisation Skills
✓• Ability to Handle Confidential Information
✓• Strong Record Keeping Skills
✓Qualifications:
✓• Must be at least studying towards AAT/ACA/ACCA.
