Senior Finance Officer
Description✓Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Senior Finance Officer to join their Finance Service on an initial 3-month temporary contract
✓This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week.
✓Duties & Responsibilities:
✓* Providing assistance to the department in analysing and interpreting costs and income to enable the services’ savings target to be achieved
✓* Providing a professional finance and management information service
✓* Undertaking complex pieces of accountancy work and supporting and advising services as required
✓* Maintaining the Council’s general ledger and other supporting financial records including computerised databases
✓* Supporting the closedown processes of the authority and preparing service accounts
✓* Reconciliation of control accounts
✓Requirements:
✓* AAT or equivalent professional qualification
✓* Experience of working within Financial Services, ideally within a large-scale organisation
✓* Staff management experience
✓* Ability to use a range of financial systems and applications
