Senior Payroll Specialist
Description✓Our busy client is growing their team of payroll specialists
✓Our client supports businesses with payroll functions, and you would be working a busy outsource team in a highly successful accountancy firm
✓Our client is seeking someone with 7+ years payroll experience ideally for this role

✓Your role:
✓Responsible for the day to day administration of a portfolio of SME sized client payrolls, including RTI submissions and year end process
✓Weekly, Fortnightly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual frequencies with differing levels of complexity
✓Using knowledge of PAYE/NIC and statutory absence payments, for example, SMP,SAP, SPP, SHPP, SPBP and SSP
✓Processing employee and employer pension contributions and subsequent submission to the Pension Provider of multiple and varying types of Pension Scheme
✓Processing Payrolled BIK's, Salary Sacrifice Schemes, Flexible Benefits and Stocks, Shares & ESPP
✓Proactively keeping up to date with Payroll legislation and compliance
✓Experience of liaising with HMRC
✓Use own initiative to resolve issues and assist teams members where possible
✓The person:
✓Must have at least 7-8 years+ experience, this is essential
✓Working knowledge of STAR/IRIS Payroll Professional would be preferred but not essential
✓Working knowledge of PayCircle would be great but not essential
✓Working knowledge of QTAC ad HMRC Basic Tools
✓Have obtained CIPP Qualification or equivalent
✓Have excellent or advanced Microsoft Excel skills [VLOOKUP, PIVOT Tables, Text to Columns etc.]
✓Full complete understanding of Statutory Deductions, Payments and Calculations
✓Full complete understanding of Auto Enrolment Rules & Regulations
✓Customer focused and a can do attitude is a must
✓Experience of organising own work and strong ability to prioritise
✓Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and high accuracy
