Description✓Role: Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility Apprentice
✓Location: Newbury [potential future hybrid working once established]
✓Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am -5pm
✓The Newbury Building Society has created this new role to further develop and implement their environmental and sustainability strategy, whilst being supported to attain the Level 4 apprenticeship in Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility.
✓The successful applicant will be expected to grow within this role, to become the focal point for shaping and coordinating their environmental ambitions and initiatives, working with key stakeholders and relevant teams across the organisation
✓Whilst primarily focused on their green agenda, the role-holder will also have opportunities to become involved in their social and corporate responsibility agenda more generally.
✓About this Apprenticeship:
✓Partnering with LDN Apprenticeships, as a Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Apprentice you will learn to act as the social conscience for the organisation, helping you to innovate and drive your ambitions for social and environmental change.
✓Course Content is aligned to the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Competency Framework and Apprentices receive free membership to the ICRS for the duration of the apprenticeship.
✓What you will need to apply:
✓* A real interest in undertaking an Apprenticeship in Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility
✓* Live within commuting distance Newbury
✓* Qualifications: A-levels/BTEC, or equivalent work experience [typically two years in a relevant role].
✓* GCSE standards – 5x GCSE's, including English and Maths at Grade 4 [C], or equivalent.
