Temporary Finance Officer
Description✓We are proud to be supporting this fantastic charity again to find them a Finance Officer to provide outstanding support on a Temporary basis.
✓This fantastic charity help, advance and enrich the education of people by working with hundreds of volunteers across the UK to provide enrichment activities.
✓Role: Temporary Finance Officer
✓Salary: £12.35 - £15.35 per hour+ Office Angels Benefits + Holiday Pay [Paid Weekly]
✓Start Date: ASAP
✓Duration: Ongoing
✓Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm [The client is also open to part-time applicants]
✓Location: Remote with visits to the office in LS15 each Tuesday
✓This role will play a pivotal part in the smooth running of the finance function; therefore, we are looking for candidates with previous experience working within a finance environment
✓The client is looking for a highly organised individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and multitask.
✓Key responsibilities within your role would be:
✓Bank & company credit card reconciliations
✓Processing of invoices
✓Managing the finance inbox, responding to queries in a timely manner
✓Assisting with preparation of management accounts including prepayments and accruals etc
✓Assist in generating reports, ensuring correct data, manipulating the data, and uploading to the system
✓Be the point of contact for financial queries
✓Ad hoc support to the operations functionTo be considered for this opportunity you will:
✓Have proven experience in a similar, finance-based role
✓Prior experience with Sage & AAT Qualification would be desirable
✓Confident with all Microsoft packages, particularly Excel
✓Attention to detail & highly organised
