Academic Administrator
Description✓Are you ready to join a fast-paced and dynamic organisation?
✓Reporting to the Line Manager, you will play an instrumental role in supporting with the day to day running of the Academic Office
✓You will have the ability to prioritise and complete tasks within a given timeframe and ensure the highest of accuracy is maintained.
✓Due to the nature of the role and organisation, it will be necessary to take out an enhanced DBS before you can start in the role.
✓Academic Administrator Responsibilities
✓Answering emails and telephone queries
✓Entering student data and contact information
✓Liaising with internal teams to book meetings
✓Booking appointments and events
✓Maintaining accurate schedules and information
✓Assisting with training new staff members
✓Filing, scanning and printing
✓Academic Administration Rewards

✓Academic Administration Experience
✓Professional experience:
✓Excellent command of written and spoken English
✓Be a highly efficient administrator with excellent IT skills [Microsoft Office, databases etc.]
✓Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
✓Personal attributes:
✓Demonstrated ability to work accurately and complete tasks within a given time frame
✓Ability to adapt in a changing environment
✓Polite, patient, friendly and enthusiastic with a flexible approach to work
✓Excellent communication skills, with an ability to explain clearly
✓Able to work under pressure
✓Strong team player
✓Acts in a professional manner at all times
✓The Location
✓This role is based in Central Oxford
✓Sadly, there is no parking available on site
✓However, the office is very easily reached via public transport or bicycle!
✓This is a full time, permanent role
✓The working hours are 37.5 per week, generally 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday [2-3 Saturdays or evenings a year are required for open days and other events].
