Account Manager

DescriptionOur Engineering client based near Solihull are currently recruiting for an Account Manager to look after a number of key accounts.
As an Oil & Gas Account Manager, with a selected range of customers, you will be responsible for delivering best practices in our business operating processes, ensuring the cost efficiency and effectiveness of the following services: Sales Order Processing, Account Management, Dispatch and Deliveries, Purchase Order Processing, Production Planning, Goods In, WIP and Finished Parts Stores
In order carry out you role successfully, you will be required to utilise the resources at your disposal effectively
Working in a team environment, adopting a continuous improvement culture and approach, you will be expected to participate in the implementation of best practices, emphasizing a ‘Right First Time’ approach and targeting reducing nonvalue added waste.
KEY RESULT AREAS

Manage gross profit through the establishment and implementation of pricing policies:

Sub-contract: apply market-driven pricing for new parts, and particularly ensure raw material and treatment price increases are passed onto the customers.

Ensure that prices in EFACS are updated to reflect price changes fixed by the Sales.

Take responsibility for managing the Enquiry process from customer request through to the preparation and completion of tender/proposal.

Create appropriate proposals/tenders utilizing customer supplied documents as appropriate [Excel, Word documents etc.]

Answer customer queries in a timely fashion, arranging follow-up by appropriate Summit Engineering Birmingham Limited personnel.

Take responsibility for customer Sales Orders, Contract Review and Acknowledgments.

Hours: 8am start – Finish 5pm
30 minutes unpaid lunch
Monday - Thursday
Hours: 34hrs/week
