Apprentice People Administrator
Description✓Sense has an exciting opportunity to join the People Administration Team based at Selly Oak, Birmingham
✓This is a fixed term apprentice position working 37.5 hours per week on a hybrid basis in the office.
✓This is a great time to join the team as we implement a new HR and People system across Sense
✓You will be working towards delivering a high quality and consistent People Team administration service to employees and managers, recruitment, volunteering and onboarding.
✓No two days are the same; you will work in a variety of key areas planning, booking and cancellation of training sessions; DBS checks, providing references, right to work checks and more.
✓As this is an apprentice position the salary after the 1st year is dictated by the age of the successful candidate, please find below the details of salary depending on age:
✓* All apprentices during the 1st year of the apprenticeship- £5.28 per
✓* If the apprentice is over the age of 19 and in their second year of apprenticeship the will paid the below based on age:
✓* 18- 20 years old- £7.49 per hour
✓* 21-22 years old- £10.18 per hour
✓* 23 and over years old- £10.42 per hour
✓Key skills and experience required:
✓* Proven experience of working in a busy, fast-moving administrative team supporting a multi-site environment; gained within an Recruitment, Training or HR function.
✓* Experience in delivering excellent customer service either face to face or via phone; with ability to build strong relationships.
✓* Able to pick up processes quickly and work with minimal supervision
✓* Able to organise and prioritise own work, and be responsible and accountable for quality and accuracy of own work.
✓* Experience of working with confidential information and have up to date knowledge of GDPR
✓* Good level of IT literacy, including word processing and mail-merge, and basic knowledge of using spreadsheets.
✓This is a fixed term contract which will terminate when the Apprenticeship Programme is completed at which time it will automatically expire unless otherwise agreed in writing between you and Sense
✓The Apprenticeship Programme is expected to last for approximately 12 months although the organisation cannot guarantee you any minimum or maximum period of employment
✓In accepting this appointment, you agree that when the Apprenticeship Programme is complete, your contract of employment will be terminated
