In short, the role is to assist the Project Manager managing a number of water and waste schemes on behalf of the client including such as complex asset diversion, asset protections and major connections, being responsible for dealing with all internal and external stakeholders from the early stages of scoping, managing design, to preparing for site delivery

Overview of Role:
Our client is a progressive, up and coming consultancy providing solutions for the management of projects involving key critical national infrastructure with a focus on enabling works and utilities

This role will be responsible for the project management and coordination for defined areas of the delivery programme, engineering, procurement, construction, commercial and commissioning activities for the life cycle of the programme of work.  This post will ensure planning and delivery is in accordance with all safety, quality, time, cost and statutory requirements to meet the needs of the developers and asset owners.
Core Qualifications and Skills
The Post holder should be able to demonstrate.
Engineering or Project Management qualification and proven project management experience at a relevant level.
Understanding and previous experience of Water, Waste, and other Utilities projects.
Preferred Skills
Proven experience of working on Water and Waste schemes, large infrastructure or utility infrastructure projects/programmes.
Proven experience of working in a high performing team.
Working knowledge of CAD 2D and/or 3D, BIM.
Driving license
CSCS Card Holder
Previous Experience and Skills
Excellent IT skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office SharePoint, TEAMS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Use of GIS and Document Control systems.
Excellent time management skills.
Proactive and proven ability to hit deadlines.
High level of attention to detail.
Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
A team player with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills who interacts effectively with colleagues and clients.
Ability to work under pressure, manage time and assist the team in meeting deadlines.
Ability to inspire and motivate people to drive the business forward and achieve business goals.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Remuneration and Benefits:
20 days annual leave per annum plus 3 days at Christmas, plus bank holidays
Rising by one additional day per year of service.
