DescriptionOur client, a well established, ambitious Facilities & Maintenance organisation based in Leeds, are currently on the search for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their Senior Management team and lead the journey of growth that they are about to embark on nationally.   
This really is a unique opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a well established business and start to develop sales in their own way nationally
The owners of the business are willing to give a lot of autonomy to the person hired and reward the successful candidate with a generous incentive package as well as strong basic salary.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and lead a commercial business development strategy that will allow the business to accelerate their current turnover/ growth
Identify profitable sales leads and opportunities [TFM, hard & soft services] for the business to attack
Grow and develop a sustainable pipeline
Take a hands on approach to business development, leading the way with all sales and BD activities.
Raise the profile of the organisation by representing them at industry events and networking opportunities.
Development of existing client contracts and new client relationships
Research, prepare and submit tenders / proposals for FM & maintenance contracts [TFM, hard & soft services].
Assist the operations team in mobilising new contracts ensuring that effective services are delivered from the outset and that solid foundations are laid for long term quality and profitability.
Manage sales to operations hand over procedure for contract mobilisation
Retain strong understanding of current operation, competitor position and market trends
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Business Development Manager with experience of creating strategy and delivering FM & Maintenance Services
You will already have a well established contact book and be willing to use it in order to grow the business
You will be a strong communicator and you will be able to confidently & professionally lead, prepare and present impressive & innovative bids and tenders
Due to the nature of the role you must hold a UK driving license and posses strong IT Skills.
In return, our client is willing to offer a salary up to £50,000 per annum plus a package which includes a company car/ allowance, a very rewarding commission structure and other suitable benefits
