✓A leading national business are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Health and Safety professional to join their friendly team in Bracknell

✓The Role:
✓• Proactively support compliance [statutory requirements/ company standards].
✓• Auditing, inspecting, and reporting on, then support and deliver health and safety performance and best practice across all sites.
✓• Ensure our operations have all procedures for adherence to legislation, codes of practice and external standards.
✓• Create / update emergency plans.
✓• Undertake and review risk assessments
✓• Create management reports based on trends, deliver training based on information available
✓• Assisting in documenting and investigating incident, accidents and near misses.
✓• Participate in team meetings, ensuring H&S culture is prelevant throughout
✓• Produce a monthly activity report for the Operations Manager.
✓• Conduct H&S Audits and manage actions [with 3rd party use if required].
✓Person Specification
✓• Minimum 3 years’ practical experience in a similar role, ideally in the waste industry.
✓• NEBOSH certificate [Safety & Environmental] or equivalent.
✓• Auditor and training qualifications [preferred but not essential].
✓• Health & Safety experience [ideally 3 years].
✓• Experienced in accident/ incident investigation and report writing.
✓• Experience with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001
✓• Experienced in writing and delivering health & safety-related training.
✓• Confident IT skills [Word, PDF, PowerPoint & Excel etc.].
✓• Hands-on approach and adept at building relationships.
✓• Be self-motivated and happy to work independently.
✓• Analytical, proactive and organised.
✓• Confident and comfortable presenting to groups of managers.
