Hourly rate of pay for 35 hour week is £16.50 to £19 per hour

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an individual who is both approachable and confident to be able to converse on behalf of the Executive Director and support the Director and the senior team.
An HNC level or equivalent qualification is required as a minimum alongside substantial and recent and relevant experience of managing office activity and supporting senior managers in an executive/personal assistant role.
Main responsibilities include:
Lead and manage administrative and support activity across the directorate.
Act as the main contact point on behalf of the Executive Director/Director for the organisation and administrative work of the Directorate
Act as Secretary to the senior team meetings and committees - managing the business, preparing draft agendas, collating or drafting supporting papers, preparing minutes, and initiating and monitoring actions
Take lead responsibility for administering and overseeing the reconciliation of the budget, putting in place appropriate systems to manage expenditure, provide regularly reports on current/planned expenditure - monitoring and taking action as required
Contribute to decision making on the Directorate's operation and development both independently and co-operative
Engage with the Executive Director/Director of key work activities, prioritising the workload to ensure that urgent issues are dealt with in a timely fashion, following up on actions
Lead and drive continuous improvement of process, procedure, and policies to enable efficiency, effectiveness, and resilience
