We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join our central team based from our Carlisle office - there has never been a better time to join!
The Role
As Payroll Administrator, you will work within a small enthusiastic team, providing a payroll service to all our divisions, complying with statutory and regulatory requirements.
You will be involved in the weekly payroll process from setting up new weekly paid starters on the system, maintaining employee data, processing approved timesheets, and producing weekly wage reports for payment.
With your knowledge as an Administrator, ideally with payroll experience, you will identify and resolve queries from colleagues, providing a professional and efficient payroll service.

The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate for the role will have experience working in a payroll function, a good understanding of HMRC legislation, proficient IT skills and be flexible to changing priorities
The ability to work quickly and accurately in a busy, high-volume environment is essential.
Knowledge of the contracting industry would be extremely advantageous
Experience of accounting software would also be helpful.
