8.45am - 5pm
Office based
£25,000 per year plus bonus scheme [Average of £2,500] and yearly salary increase
Main duties will include:
* Assist with the preparation of weekly and weekly payroll
* 800 employees including all PAYE issues, Auto Enrolment and pension payments, SSP, calculate Holiday Pay etc
* Processing information for external third parties
* Producing and analysing reports
* Prepare all necessary payroll data to issue to department managers
* Liaise with colleagues both via telephone and email
* Collate additional information when requested
* Ensure all reporting deadlines are met and all submissions are complete
* Supporting several projects including holiday pay
* Support the payroll supervisor in ad-hoc tasks and projects
Skills and experience the candidate must have
* Experience using a payroll system
* 1 year minimum payroll processing experience
* Excellent IT skills
* Strong numeracy skills
* High attention to detail
* Fantastic communication skills
* Ability to prioritise workloads and work towards deadlines
* Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
