People and Culture Manager
Description✓An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People and Culture Manager to join a successful and family run hotel based in Hertfordshire.
✓You will be leading their people function and collaborating with the owners and directors to shape the company’s strategy and drive the business forward
✓The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and passionate with at least 2 years’ experience across all aspects of human resources within the hospitality sector.
✓Key Duties:
✓* Create a culture that shows passion, authenticity, and connection in the office
✓* Bring the company’s core values into every aspect of the employee journey, from recruitment to retention.
✓* Create innovative and attractive employer branding strategies to attract brilliant talent.
✓* Adopt a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment that celebrates individuality and encourages fresh ideas.
✓* Lead initiatives to amplify engagement.
✓* Collaborate closely with department heads to create learning opportunities and bespoke career paths for the team, focusing primarily on growth and development.
✓* Work closely with the family owners, Managing Director, and General Manager to shape the People strategy and drive the business forward.
✓* Empower team to reach new heights and exceed their own expectations.
✓Key Skills:
✓* At least 2 years’ experience in a human resources role in hospitality industry
✓* Self-motivated and a team player
✓* Experience dealing with legal and performance issues
✓* excellent communication skills
✓* Drive and have your own transport due to rural location
