Project Administrator - Logistics - 6 months

DescriptionThis is a new post to support a very busy division of a global waste management Company.   
The Project Administrator will be working with a management team to organise large bulk trucks and equipment to be sent to the UK and Europe to support temporary waste water projects.
The position calls for someone who has excellent communication skills and is able to pull each project together by meticulously checking that all equipment is in supply or gained in readiness for specific dates.
The successful individual will work with the team to organise drivers, the delivery of large plant and small plant equipment and liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure that everything is in place and to time scale.
This position would ideally suit someone who has worked in Transport planning or equipment hire and who is used to working to strict deadlines.  You will also need an excellent keyboard skill and used to inputting information onto word and excel and sending out emails using Outlook.
Other administration will also be carried out such as checking off of invoices, liaison with suppliers and chasing for information etc. 
This is a new position and there is a possiblity that the client will look for this role to become more permanent once its proven its success.

The role is paying up to £28,500 basic and also offers 28 days holiday per annum rising to 33 days after 3 months [pro rata], Pension scheme, free parking and overtime.
