Adecco Nottingham, have an amazing opportunity with our client, who are based in Loughborough
We are searching for a Student Administrator, who is passionate about people and working within a service driven environment.
As part of this role, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to staff and students, acting as a first point of contact for all enquiries and contributing to the effective operation of the services provided by our client.
Here's some of the key responsibilities for the role:
Provide a welcoming and professional point of contact for the department via all methods of communication: email, telephone, and in-person
Receiving and responding professionally to internal and external queries from within the department, public and external practices
Providing advice, resolving both simple and complex queries, and judging when to forward on to, or involve others
Provide guidance, support, or informal training to staff/students in the use of departmental systems, services, and processes, such as agresso, myview.
Develop and maintain relevant databases, spreadsheets, and online filing systems to ensure accurate, up to date information is accessible in line with GDPR
Accurately record and store data of a sensitive and clinical nature
Ensure all records are accurately maintained and available upon request to meet RCVS/accreditation requirements
Finance
Ensure that financial records are accurately maintained and disseminated as required
Liaise with Financial Management to ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices for services provided
Utilise university financial systems to enter and process orders relevant to the department To apply for this role, you must possess of the following skills:
Extensive I.T
knowledge including MS Office, internet & email
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to build working relationships within the department and external organisations
Able to work as part of a team
Ability to work independently to resolve complex internal and external queries and to provide and maintain a high level of customer service whilst working to deadlines
Accuracy, reliability, willing and adaptable to learn new skills and procedures as required by changing company procedures and legislation
Experience of planning own work activities in response to differing deadlines and needs of the company
Flexible attitude to working hours during busy periods
Possess a commitment to delivering a high-quality professional service to students and staff
