Temporary HR Assistant

This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced HR professional looking to take the next step in their career
You will be the sole HR presence for this site, and therefore must be comfortable with being the main point of contact for all staff members, however you will have key support from other HR Officers at other sites.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include general HR Administration, recruitment, coordinating payroll and processing personnel records.
This role is 37 hours per week with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Due to the nature of the business, you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check, please only apply should you be comfortable with this.
Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis
This role will start immediately, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.
Temporary HR Assistant Responsibilities
Organise and co-ordinate all recruitment activities, ensuring compliance with current legislation
Assist with the upkeep of the personnel file ensuring accuracy of data
Assist with the monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Collate timesheets, answer queries, and process pensions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on all databases
Assist and note-take in any disciplinary, grievance or other related meetings

Temporary HR Assistant Requirements
Knowledge and understanding of personnel policies and data protection legislation
Experience in HR and exposure to payroll
Self-motivated and proactive
Attention to detail, work well under direction and also work autonomously when required
Ability to prioritise, take initiative and produce accurate, detailed work

There is onsite parking
As you will be required to visit another site, it would be preferable if you can drive.
