Transport Admin
Description✓Logistics People are looking for a Transport Admin to join our team.
✓Location: Crick
✓Working Hours: 4 on 4 off days 06:00 - 18:00 / 18:00 - 06:00
✓Pay rate: £10.52 - £11.52 p/hr
✓Logistics People are currently recruiting Transport Admin to join our Team in Crick, based at our Warrens Site.
✓What does working as a Transport Admin for Logistics People involve?
✓Main Resposibilities and Objectives:
✓Dealing with all drivers in a friendly and confident manner.
✓Ensuring collection references are correlated to physical orders & stock.
✓Directing drivers to back on / off bays with the instruction from the warehouse team.
✓Ensure drivers are seen to in a timely manner from arrival through to departure.
✓Scanning and storing delivery notes/ CMR’s using Warrens’ document management system.
✓Making sure the correct trailer numbers are inputted into the internal tracking sheets & on paperwork.
✓Escalate any issues regarding inconsistencies with dispatch paperwork and warehouse data.
✓Manage inbound/contractor booking requests.
✓Issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.
✓Submitting and creating load ASN’s where applicable.
✓Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.
✓Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals [ETAs] are communicated to Customer Services.
✓Ensuring all uplifts/adhocs are despatched on the correct loads and on time.
✓Reporting failures/ load issues to the customer service department in a timely manner.
✓Qualifications
✓Attention to detail / accuracy.
✓Ability to work without direct supervision.
✓Conscientious and reliable.
✓Positive and adaptable attitude.
✓Excellent communication skills to deliver accurate information.
✓Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
✓Effectively prioritise workload to meet set deadlines.
✓Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office e.g., PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
