Agricultural Service Engineer
Description✓Our established client is looking to recruit a Technician for their busy site in Barnard Castle
✓You'll be in charge of the preparation and pre-delivery inspection of new and used machinery, plant and euipment
✓Carrying out scheduled maintenance operations, safety inspections and the compilation of machinery condition reports.
✓You'll also be responsible for;
✓* Preparation of equipment for repair including dismantling and reassembly
✓* Diagnosis and repair of complex faults in machinery, plant and equipment
✓* Installation and hand over to the end user
✓* Identification and application of tools and equipment
✓* Maintain and conduct basic repairs to hydraulic and electrical systems
✓* Compilation of repair proposals and the implementation of timely cost-effective repairs
✓You'll be a team player with a superb customer service attitude as well as a good working knowledge of Health Safety & Environment.
✓Useful skills and experience:
✓* Knowledge of agricultural industry and machinery [or experience of trucks, plant machinery, buses]
✓* Proven track record in a technical role [full product training provided]
✓* Experience of diagnosing and repairing faults in all machinery, plant and equipment
✓* Experience installing and handing over machinery
✓* Ability to repair to hydraulic and electrical systems
✓Hours of work: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm [some overtime included which may include Saturday mornings and some on call]
✓This is a permanent role.
