Construction Service Technician [company van]
Description✓Contract Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a long established family firm for an experienced Construction Service Technician.
✓Role Purpose:
✓Reporting directly to the Construction Service Manager, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment associated with Construction machinery [but not limited to] that is sold by the company’s sales department
✓You will be working with brands such as Hyundai, Twaites, Bomag and many more.
✓You will be given direct access to the manufactures for support and training, as well as the benefit of working with our own experienced team members.
✓Essential Skills/Experience:
✓Sound knowledge of or experience within the Construction or Agricultural industry [advantageous]
✓Ability to diagnose hydraulic and electrical faults using latest software and successfully carry out repairs which may be chargeable, warrantable or internal type jobs.
✓Lifting of heavy machinery, applying common sense to items that require the assistance of special tools
✓Has the ability to work alone and as part of a team
✓Able to work under pressure and to customer demands, including long hours and weekend cover [rota based]
✓Excellent communication skills
✓Competent in the use of computers
✓Maintain a good general level of health and fitness
✓Excellent customer service skills as this is a customer facing role
✓Full clean driver’s licence
✓Be self-motivated
✓ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
✓START DATE:
✓Immediate, but subject to successful candidates notice period
✓HOURS:
✓39 hours per week - 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4pm Friday [1 hour unpaid lunch] Overtime paid at time and a half on completion of 39 hours Monday to Friday
✓Sundays or Bank Holidays will be paid at double time
✓SALARY:
✓£Competitive, dependent on experience plus company vehicle and mobile phone
