Dairy Processing Production Manager

DescriptionWe seek a dedicated and motivated individual to join our client as a Dairy Processing Manager.
In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our dairy processing facility, managing milk processing, butter production, and orange juice bottling

Responsibilities:
* Manage the daily operations of our dairy processing facility, including the process of our 1200 litre per hour pasteuriser, homogeniser, and separator setup.
* Oversee the filling line for glass and plastic bottles, ensuring efficient and accurate bottling of milk and orange juice products.
* Produce salted and unsalted butter weekly, maintaining consistent quality and adhering to production schedules.
* Coordinate the bottling process for orange juice, ensuring compliance with quality standards and food safety regulations.
* Collaborate with the team to develop new dairy products, contributing innovative ideas and assisting in expanding our product range.
* Work closely with management to promote our business, increase sales volumes, and enhance brand awareness.
* Monitor inventory levels, ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished products, and manage quality control procedures.
* Train and supervise production staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback as needed.
* Maintain a clean and organized processing facility, following sanitation protocols and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in dairy processing.
Qualifications:
* A high school diploma or equivalent in food science, dairy science, or a related field is a plus.
* Prior experience in dairy processing or a similar industry is preferred but not essential.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control procedures.
* Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
* Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or extended hours as required.
