Financial Accountant
Description✓A highly established family run business, operating for nearly 50 years in the South-West, are seeking a hardworking and reliable Financial Accountant in Chudleigh, Devon.

✓Key Responsibilities:
✓* Preparation of all financial reports, including departmental income statements, balance sheets, VAT returns, and external reporting as required.
✓* Develop dashboard reporting for departmental use
✓Extracting and presenting insights from database.
✓* Meets regularly with senior management team to keep informed and to offer insights and guidance.
✓* Reviews reports and analyses projected sales and profit against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals and suggests methods of improving performance or processes as appropriate.
✓* Prepares annual accounts to final TB stage including schedules for external auditors.
✓* Maintains total confidentially at all times [e.g., customer purchases, accounting records, personnel records, etc.].
✓Essential / Preferred Experience and Attributes Required:
✓* Qualified or part qualified with experience of similar position.
✓* Previous use of Microsoft365 products including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
✓* Excellent in Excel, with previous experience of dashboard applications –Power Bi, Pivot tables or similar.
✓* Excellent analytical, business planning, problem solving, and motivational skills.
✓* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
✓* High level of accuracy, organisational skills, and ability to work to and achieve.
