Plant Engineer
Description✓Position: Plant Fitter
✓Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 + Bonus
✓Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
✓Monday – Friday
✓Interaction is working with a nationwide plant hire company based in Peterborough
✓Due to an expansion in the business my client is looking to take on multiple plant fitters to start immediately

✓Workshop and Field based roles available
✓The Role:
✓Fault-finding and maintenance on a range of plant machinery from light machinery to heavy plant [Diggers, Dumpers, Excavators and more]
✓Responsible for identifying and repairing any faults or damage to equipment
✓Offering excellent customer service
✓Accurately updating service records during real time
✓Following health and safety to ensure a safer workplace
✓The Candidate:
✓Proven experience working as a plant mechanic/fitter role with a relevant mechanical qualification or time served
✓Sound and current knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance
✓Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure
✓A customer-focussed approach workload and committed team player
✓A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential
