Description✓Contract Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a long established family firm for an experienced Professional Groundcare Technician
✓My client is a family-owned firm that supplies a wide range of machinery; from garden mowers and chainsaws to combine harvesters and construction excavators as well as selling a huge selection of clothing, footwear, garden sundries and DIY products across 19 country stores.
✓Role Purpose:
✓Reporting to the Service Manager, your responsibility will be to repair and maintain all equipment associated with Professional Groundcare machinery that is sold by the company's sales department
✓You will be working with top manufacturers such as Trilo, E-Z-Go, Ransome Jacobsen, Kawasaki, Wiedenmann, GKB and more.
✓Essential Skills/Experience:
✓v Sound knowledge of Utility and/or Garden machinery, or small Agricultural machinery
✓v Knowledge of both Domestic and Professional Grass Machinery
✓v Ability to diagnose hydraulic and electrical faults
✓v Excellent customer service skills both face to face and over the telephone
✓v Has the ability to work alone using your own initiative and as part of a team
✓v Maintain a clean, tidy and safe work area within the workshop
✓v Ability to adhere to health and safety practice and procedures at all times
✓v Excellent customer service skills as this is a customer facing role
✓v Full clean driver’s licence
✓ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
✓START DATE:
✓Immediate, but subject to successful candidates notice period
✓HOURS:
✓39hrs per week basic – 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm Friday [1 hour unpaid lunch break] Overtime above 39 hours per week will be paid at time and a half
✓SALARY:
✓£Competitive, depending on experience plus company vehicle
