Refrigeration Engineer
Description✓We are currently working with a specialist industrial manuacturing and maintenance business, to recruit a Refrigeration Engineer to cover client sites around Bromyard and the wider Herefordshire area
✓The pay will be £15 per hour with roughly £31,000 to £38,000 average earnings throughout the year
✓40 hours a week 8.30 until 5pm paid and a vehicle provided, and there is also a 1 in 3 weeks on call rota which is paid at 1.5 x rate along with any overtime.
✓The role is to service, repair and install bulk tanks & associated cooling equipment in line with manufacturers & customer requirements.
✓Duties and Responsibilities
✓* Assist Managing Director/Senior Refrigeration Coordinator to maintain safety standards in line with the Health & Safety at Work Act and other appropriate legislation.
✓* Carry out servicing, installation and repairs to bulk tanks & associated cooling equipment.
✓* Ensure servicing, installation and repairs are compliant with required legislation.
✓* Ensure servicing, installation and repairs are carried out to customer satisfaction.
✓* Ensure completion and compliance of all company records e.g
✓job sheets, timesheets, advice notes etc.
✓* Respond promptly and effectively to requests for information and assistance.
✓* Act as an excellent ambassador for the business with all internal and external contacts.
✓* Undertake all reasonable requests from the Managing Director & Senior Refrigeration Engineer for work activities.
✓Candidate requirements:
✓* Time served engineer in apprenticeship and/or formal qualifications within Electrical/Mechanical engineering
✓* Refrigeration background
✓* Good Electrical & Mechanical skills
✓* Good written communication skills
✓* Good verbal communication skills
✓* Good IT skills
✓* Ideally F Gas qualified
✓* Ideally Pipe fitting skills – stainless/copper/PVC, Stainless steel welding ability Show more →
