The Service Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and effective service delivery
This position requires strong technical knowledge of heavy plant machinery, exceptional leadership abilities, and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement service policies, procedures, and standards to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of service operations.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of service requests, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
Coordinate and prioritize service schedules and resources to meet customer needs and minimize downtime.
Monitor service metrics and key performance indicators to evaluate service performance and identify areas for improvement.
Supervise and provide guidance to a team of service technicians, ensuring high levels of productivity and quality.
Proactively communicate with customers to provide updates on service status, resolve any concerns, and maintain strong relationships.
Provide technical support and guidance to service technicians, troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring accurate repairs.
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to agricultural machinery and service practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a service management role or understanding of the heavy machinery manufacturing industry.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team of service technicians.
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to resolve service-related issues effectively.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficient computer skills and experience with service management software systems.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to agricultural machinery servicing and maintenance.
