✓Job type: Temporary [6 months]
✓Location: Harlow
✓Hours: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4pm [Fridays finish at 1.15] - Paid for 37.5hrs per week
✓Pay: £31,344.38 Rising to £32,524.30
✓Manpower are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Tree Inspector based in Harlow to join their team.
✓Duties include:
✓Onsite surveying, carrying out visual tree assessment on a reactive basis in relation to resident and departmental enquiries.
✓Assisting in managing trees in respect of the client tree policy.
✓Recording details of inspections in line with current legislation and guidance.
✓Responding to enquiries, including giving recommendations for work, or explaining why works are not required.
✓Establish and maintain relationships with members of the public
✓Deal with queries and complaints, resolve site issues and provide information about the service delivered
✓Work alongside Business support to reduce, investigate and resolve complaints.
✓Assisting with writing quotations, works orders and overseeing works where necessary supervising internal and external contractors and conducting post works quality control checks.
✓Establish and maintain relationships with Line management, Environmental Managers, and other Departments.
✓Ensure that plant, equipment, and tools are maintained in good condition and properly used
✓Make regular inspections and take corrective action as necessary
✓Maintain records of plant use.
✓Records Maintenance and Management Information
✓Accurate maintenance of management records including tree information, work, and health and safety records.
✓Contribute to the collection of contract related data and customer / resident surveys
✓Collate data and inform/advise others as required, including the Arboriculture Manager.
✓Safe, Healthy and Sustainable Working Practices
✓Carry out new and review existing Risk Assessments
✓Understand and initiate safe working practices in relation to key risk assessments and communicate this to the team
✓Ensure at all times that work practices are covered by the relevant risk assessments.
✓Other Responsibilities
✓Undertake other duties as may reasonably be required in line with the grade of the post, skills, knowledge, and experience.
