Account Manager
Description✓As an account manager, you’ll play a key role in the agency, delivering projects through the full job lifecycle – from taking a client brief to delivering final artwork / assets
✓You will support the existing client services team across multiple clients and projects, taking full responsibility for projects at the highest levels of quality and accuracy.
✓Many projects are integrated print [direct mail / door drop] and digital [incl
✓video] campaigns for the charity and education sectors across their fundraising activities, as well as upfront strategic planning, brand positioning, identity, and proposition projects.
✓You will be expected to not just deliver what you’re asked by the client, but to add value by questioning the brief, challenging the thinking and delivering a creative solution to achieve the objective.
✓Key role responsibilities
✓* Taking responsibility for the management and delivery of projects, on time and on brief and within budget
✓* Clear and accurate briefing and communications internally and externally
✓* Keeping your team and the client updated with the status and next actions of all projects – status reports, contact reports, schedules – and running client status calls.
✓* Managing jobs through the internal agency process – briefing our creative teams, proofing, approvals etc
✓* Delivering high quality work and identifying opportunities to help grow client accounts.
✓* Being an active participant in internal meeting and external presentations
✓* Monitoring industry trends and client / competitor activity
✓* Keeping track of project costs and budgets
✓* Driving comms planning within projects
✓* Writing presentations when necessary
✓* Supplier liaison
✓* Being open to actively learning about the fundraising sector, as well as wider marketing activities
✓Capabilities & Skills
✓* Effective time management
✓* Utmost attention to detail to ensure no work leaves the agency with errors.
✓* Creative marketing agency experience – at least 3 years
✓* Proficient in MS Office [word, excel, powerpoint]
✓* Curious, questioning and eager to delve into the detail and full understanding of a client brief.
✓* Knowledge of direct marketing / print experience [as well as digital channels]
✓* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
✓* A good eye for creative development [without being a designer]!
✓* Commercial / business sense
✓* Able to cope with fast-paced, dynamic and busy environments and to juggle multiple client demands.
