Description✓Design Engineer required
✓My client is an international leader in manufacturing polymer sealing solutions to many industries
✓They are now looking to expand their airframe and aero-engine seal design team with a Design Engineer
✓The ideal candidate will be experienced in Mechanical Design, have Catia experience, will be degree qualified and will be local to Swadlincote.
✓Design Engineer Position Overview
✓Introduce a new product range whilst working with Project Management and Commercial Development teams to achieve this
✓Design of airframe and engine seal solutions
✓Produce costing and BOM's
✓Planning of projects
✓Creating manufacturing drawings, technical proposals and concepts
✓Management of data configuration and ERP configurations
✓Work to continuously improve product range
✓Design Engineer Position Requirements
✓Preferably 3 years Design Engineering and Production/Manufacturing experience
✓Experienced with using Catia
✓Experienced with using Abacus
✓Strong understanding of Engineering Fundamentals
✓Qualified to degree level in an Engineering/Product Development discipline
✓Based locally to Swadlincote
✓Design Engineer Position Remuneration
✓Salary £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
✓Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:45-8:15 to 16:30-17:00, Friday 7:45-8:15 to 12:30-13:00
✓32 days holiday including bank holidays
