✓Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated Youth Support Worker to work in a Secondary school setting supporting pupils with SEND and Autism based in Sutton or the surrounding areas
✓The school is seeking a Youth Support Worker that have experience in coaching or mentoring
✓The ideal candidate must feel comfortable dealing with challenging behaviour from Children and young adults, that can show a calm approach to this behaviour
✓Experience of working with children or adults in an education setting is not essential, but a willingness to learn new coaching skills to improve behaviour is critical
✓The ideal candidate will have excellent behaviour management skills and the ability also to take small groups.
✓Job Responsibilities
✓* Supporting secondary pupils with SEND
✓* Ability to engage and support pupils
✓* Supervising and mentoring behaviour of pupils
✓* Comfortable leading pupils learning in small groups
