Darbar Arts, Culture and Heritage Trust is looking for a Head of Programmes and Partnerships to implement their mission to champion this world-renowned and captivating art form
This is an exciting time to come on board to be part of a small but dynamic arts organisation which has helped raise the bar for Indian classical music globally and further develop new areas of programming, including contemporary and urban music.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the programmes strategy of live events, music education and entertainment, working closely with key stakeholders, partners and venue partners.
Salary: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities:
To deliver the programmes and partnerships strategy, working cohesively across different programme teams [live events, education, entertainment and marketing] including building a clear approach to measuring the impact of our work
To have oversight of Darbar's strategy implementation plan and budgets and leading on fundraising as appropriate
To build a strategic approach to new partnerships development, particularly with education and live events partners ensuring strong and accountable relationships
To be a key member of Darbar's leadership team modelling visionary and collaborative leadership skills and a strong commitment to Darbar's ethics
The post holder will take responsibility to integrate relevant safeguarding into all aspects of their work, complying with organisational policies.
Essential Experience:
Proven experience in a senior management position with equivalent or transferable job function areas
Extensive experience of line management, particularly of managing multiple diverse teams
Strong experience of designing, implementing and monitoring arts programmes
Demonstrable experience of developing or implementing monitoring, evaluation and learning processes to continually learn from programmes, adapt and measure impact
Experience of managing budgets and a strong understanding of finance
A strong collaborative leadership style, who builds and inspires a diverse and talented team
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Results orientated
Strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of programme/project management software such as [url removed]

Desirable Knowledge:
Understanding of Indian classical music and or arts
Knowledge of and networked to UK arts donors
