A fantastic opportunity for a junior technician to join our innovative, forward thinking temporary works department, based in London. 
This vacancy, will provide a unique experience to work with our industry leading team whilst further developing your skill set across this specific sector of the industry. 
Main Purpose of the Role
Responsible for the success of project draughting activities under supervision from our Head of Temporary Works.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Contribute to the production of project design deliverables
· Working with and coordinating internal departments to meet deadlines on multiple jobs at the same time.
· Carry out the draughting of temporary works schemes, ensure all output is in accordance with company procedures and requirements of CDM 2015.
· Take ownership of drawings from conception to installation and support on site.
· Proactively work with engineers to establish efficient sequencing and value engineered solutions.
· Ensure that all health and safety regulations are observed throughout.
Experience Required
· Minimum 2 years’ experience of technical drawing using CAD in a consultancy environment [less may be acceptable subject to BIM or other software experience]
· Minimum 1 years’ experience of Building Information Modelling in a consultancy environment [less may be acceptable subject to CAD or other software experience]
· Experience of Civil Engineering drafting practice, particularly Temporary Works
· Experience in the execution of ‘multi-discipline’ drawings and creation of general arrangement drawings and detail working with the engineering team.
· Experience in the drawing of proprietary Temporary Works Equipment 
· Ability to read and work with plans/drawings
· Strong communication skills and ability to express ideas
· Highly organised and hold the ability to prioritise work and an effective problem solving outlook
Other Experience [beneficial]:
· Experience in detailing structural steel fabrication
· Experience in detailing reinforced concrete
· Experience with product design and managing of product components
· Understanding Temporary Works with BS 5975
* Along with the experience above, If you have any experience using, AutoCAD, REVIT, Inventor, Siemens NX, Solidworks, Blender or 3ds Max, we would love to hear from you.
