Mechanical Design Engineer
Description✓Job Role: Mechanical Design Engineer
✓Location: Wakefield
✓Salary: £35 - 50,000
✓Metalis are delighted to be working with an incredibly ambitious Design and Manufacturing business who have a clear route of expansion and state of the art facilities to match as they look to recruit an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer.
✓You will be part of an ever growing team of some of the best Designers in the area, making this a brilliant opportunity to learn and progress your career
✓Monday - Friday paying up to £55,000.
✓You must have experience within Automation, Solidworks, AutoCAD & Inventor.
✓Daily Duties:
✓Work from initial design briefs to see projects through to completion.
✓Manage own workload to ensure designs are delivered within strict time frames.
✓Peer reviewing other designs.
✓Deliver progress reports for senior management and customer base.
✓Ensure design feasibility studies are completed to deliver projects within budget.
✓Working with various departments to understand challenges to real life problems.
✓Occasional visits to customers.
✓Offer challenging, innovative and outside the box.
✓About You:
✓A minimum 5 Years working within a design capacity.
✓Experience using 2D AutoCAD.
✓Experience using 3D Autodesk Inventor.
✓Previous experience within Design Automation.
✓Able to hit challenging deadlines.
✓Experience undertaking technical calculations.
✓A strong Team Player.
✓A detailed understanding of Mechanical Principles.
✓Knowledge pf pneumatics, Hydraulics, Motors & Moving parts.
