✓We're working with a worldwide frontrunner in magnetic resonance imaging [MRI] technology
✓They are a developer and manufacturer of the world's first range of commercial, superconducting, cryogen-free [dry magnet], benchtop MRI systems.
✓Their superconducting magnet design team is expanding and has a full-time vacancy for a Senior Design Engineer.
✓Responsibilities, but are not limited to
✓Develop new products such as superconducting magnets, MRI gradient coils, CT scanners, PET scanners
✓Use Solid Edge to produce 3D models of parts and complex assemblies
✓Prepare CAD views and presentation for design reviews
✓Stress analysis of parts using Solid Edge
✓Design of custom tooling and jigs for the manufacture of new products
✓Complete engineering change request actions
✓Site planning equipment layout drawings
✓Entering parts and bill of material into a MRP systemSkills required
✓An Engineering qualification to at least Regulated Qualifications Framework [RFQ] level 4 or equivalent
✓Proficient in Solid Edge, but similar software will be considered i.e
✓SolidWorks or Inventor
✓Working knowledge of MRP software
✓At least 7 years of new product development experience
✓Working practices compliant with ISO-9001 Show more →
